<span style="color: #222222;">The Fit India Mission under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Goa, organized the inaugural event of 'Fit India Cyclothon' event in Panaji today.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Cyclothon was flagged off by Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant from the Campal Parade Ground in the city.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br />'' The Cyclothon event witnessed participation by over 500 cycling enthusiasts who came together to cycle through a five-kilometre stretch within the Panaji city. After flagging off the Cyclothon event, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the Fit India Cyclothon event was not a race but a leisure activity organized with the aim to get the people involved in outdoor activities and starting a cycling culture in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijju thanked the people of Goa for coming out in large numbers and participating in the Cyclothon event. It was good to see the Chief Minister riding the cycle as it inspires the citizens of Goa to take up cycling and embark on a journey of fitness, he added.&nbsp;</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
