Work on the disbursement of compensation to the next of kins of those who died in the devastating fire at the AMRI hospital in Kolkata last month has begun.The Kolkata Police Commissioner Mr. Ranjit Kumar Panchnanda on Monday handed over 29 cheques of 3 lakh rupees each to relatives of the dead at the city’s Police Head quarters at Lalbazar in Kolkata on Monday.The relatives of the dead demanded stern punishment for the authorities of the AMRI hospital.
