Kings IX Punjab beat Mumbai Indians by six wickets

In the Indian Premier League cricket, Kings XI Punjab beat Mumbai Indians by six wickets at Mohali last night. Chasing a target of 154 runs, Mahela Jayawardene's 31 off 18 balls gave Kings IX Punjab a flying start. Adrian Barath made 33 while man of the match skipper Kumar Sangakkara's 56 off 42 balls stayed put till the penultimate over as the Punjab team cruised to 158 for four in 19.2 overs. Malinga took 2 wickets while Duminy and Pollard shared one each. In today's encounters, Deccan Chargers take on Chennai Super Kings at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur, while Royal Challengrs Bangalore clash with Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
