Kingfisher management says most employees have agreed to resume work

Kingfisher Airlines management on Wednesday claimed that most of the employees have agreed to resume work from Friday. But the claim has been disputed by a section of Airlines' employees.

In a fresh letter to the striking staffers, airlines' CEO Sanjay Aggarwal said, as a goodwill gesture, the company will pay full October salary to all employees ahead of Christmas. Salaries have been pending for seven months.

Rejecting the management's fresh offer Airlines emloyee Subhash Chandra Mishra , who is spearheading the agitation in Delhi demanded payment of four months' backlog in lumpsum before Friday. He claimed that 90 per cent of the employees have outrightly rejected the offer.

The beleaguered carrier has not been operating flights since September-end following a strike leading to lockout. Its flying license has also been suspended by aviation regulator DGCA.
