Kingfisher flight makes emergency landing at Goa airport

A Bangalore-bound Kingfisher flight, carrying 100 passengers on board, made an emergency landing at the Goa Airport today after the air crafts windshield developed a crack.

Goa Airport spokesman said the A320 landed at 8.10 AM after the pilot noticed the crack. The plane was flying from Mumbai to Bangalore. Airport officials said arrangements were made to fly the passengers to Bangalore.

The spokesman said, the plane is currently under repair at the Goa Airport, he also added that the cause of the crack could not be ascertained.
