India will convey its protest to the Pakistan government over the killing of two Indian soldiers at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence minister AK Antony told reporters in New Delhi the DGMO will take up the matter with his Pakistani counterpart.

Mr Antony said the Pakistani action was highly provocative and the way they treated the bodies of the dead soldiers is inhuman. He said the government is closely monitoring the situation.
