<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, Inspector General of Police of Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar today said that killing of Hizb Commander Riyaz Naikoo will significantly slow down the recruitment of local youth in terrorist ranks. In a press conference, the IGP said, Naikoo was very efficient in influencing several Kashmiri youths to join the terrorist outfits, especially through his audio and video messages on social media. He said, Naikoo was involved in the killings of many civilians, policemen and security forces and police were searching for him for the past six months. He complimented the security forces, saying Naikoo's killing has come as a big blow to the outfit.<br />''<br />''Speaking about the anti-terror operations amid COVID-19, the IGP said that security forces launched 27 operations and eliminated 64 terrorists since January 2020 in Jammu and Kashmir.
