Bangladesh has seen a string of attacks by Islamists on minorities and secular activists in the recent past.

On Kulbushan Yadav, who is in Pakistan's custody, the spokesperson said India is still trying to get consular access. But it has been unable to get the access so far and it seems Pakistan by denying access is trying to hide something in the matter. On Membership of Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR)Mr Swarup said it will not pose any restrictions on India's national security programmes.
