External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has said that death of Congolese youth Masunda Oliver is unfortunate and painful but it is not an incident of racial discrimination. Talking to a delegation of African students today who met her in New Delhi, Mrs Swaraj said, being a mother she can understand the pain of parents of Congo student Oliver who lost their son on a foreign soil.<br/> <br/>The Minister said, the day the incident took place, she sought a report from Lt Governor and was informed that two people have been arrested. She said, CCTV footage clearly shows that Indian citizens who were present at spot, tried their best to save Masunda Oliver. Mrs Swaraj said, Ministry will initiate programmes of awareness and sensitization in areas with population of African students,so that such incidents don't recur. <br/><br/>She informed that Ministry has chalked out a plan and the Minister of State for External Affairs along with Secretary will visit every metro city and hold discussions with African students.
