A British aid worker kidnapped in Somalia this week by Somali militias group was released on Wednesday after intervention by local elders. An elder who took part in the negotiations said, the British man was safely set free unharmed and without any pre-conditions by the gunmen after persuaded them to release the man who came to help our children. The British aid worker, along with a local colleague, who worked for the British charity Save the Children, were snatched from their compound in the central Somali town of Addo by a group of unknown gunmen.
