Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth has lifted the Indonesia Open Super Series men's singles trophy. In the final at Jakarta yesterday, he outclassed Japanese qualifier Kazumasa Sakai in straight games 21-11, 21-19. Srikanth showed his superiority in the 37-minute match with his deadly shuttlecock placements in his opponent's lawn.Srikanth is the first Indian men's single player to win the tournament whereas Saina Nehwal was the first Indian women's single player to win the Indonesia Open Super Series title. With this win, Srikanth clinched his third Super Series title after he had notched up victories at the 2014 China Open and the 2015 India Open.President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated Kidambi Srikanth, on winning Indonesia Open Super Series tournament. Mr. Mukherjee in a tweet congratulated Srikanth on winning the premier title. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, India is extremely delighted on his victory.
