In Badminton, India's campaign at the Indonesia Masters tournament 2021, in Bali came to an end today with Kidambi Srikant losing his semifinal bout in the Men's singles event against third seed Anders Antonsen. Srikanth lost 14-21, 9-21, in a match that lasted 41 minutes, to Antonsen. Antonsen will now play the final against Kento Momota.

Earlier in the day , two-time Olympic medallist P.V. Sindhu lost to Akane Yamaguchi of Japan in the Semi-Final.  In a 32-minute match, Akane Yamaguchi beat Sindhu 21-13, 21-9. Only two Indians – HS Prannoy and Saina Nehwal, have won the Indonesia Masters title in history.
