External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid today said the recent events from Pakistani side have not been encouraging. Replying to a question on Pakistan Prime Minister's adviser Sartaj Aziz meeting Kashmiri separatist leaders, Mr Khurshid said the events are counter-productive and not good for conducive environment for Indo-Pak dialogue. Interacting with media at the end of the two-day Asia Europe Meeting, ASEM, in Gurgaon, Haryana, he said there has to be certain seriousness in speech and action on part of Islamabad. Mr Khurshid also had a meeting with Sartaj Aziz on the sidelines of ASEM.
On Prime Minister not attending CHOGM summit at Colombo, the External Affairs Minister said it was a considered decision taken after keeping in mind various sentiments.
