Khursheed exhorts IFS officers to meet out forestry challenges

Corporate and Minority Affairs Minister Salman Khursheed has exhorted the officers of Indian Forest Service to be prepared to meet out the challenges of forestry that come their way as they take to their first postings. He was addressing the convocation function of Probationer of 2008-2010 batch of Indian Forest Service in Dehradun today. He said, the forestry has witnessed a sea change in last thirty years and the forest officers now have to find ways to set equilibrium between development and conservation.According to our correspondent 27 Officers have passed out from the Academy today. These included 9 Lady Officers and 2 officers from Bhutan.
