Himachal Pradesh BJP president Khimi Ram was today unanimously re-elected state chief after the central high command gave its nod in a marathon meeting by top leaders at New Delhi on Monday night. chief minister prem kumar dhumal and several other senior ministers and leaders were present on the ocassion.<br/><br/>The national vice-president and former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar and two ministers, who had reservations about the continuation of Khimi Ram, were conspicuous by their absence in the meeting.<br/><br/>Khimi Ram, a second-time legislator from Banjar in Kullu district, was unanimously elected as president in July last year after then president Jairam Thakur was inducted into the state Cabinet.
