In the Khelo India youth games in Guwahati, Assam girl Shivangi Sarma won her  5th gold in swimming in the Khelo India in under 21 category. Shivangi bagged gold in 50 meter freestyle today.

On the other hand, Mihir Ambre of Maharashtra has won gold in boys 50 meter freestyle in swimming.  In a thrilling final, Mihir defeated Srihari Nataraj of Karnataka. Srihari got silver. Karnataka boy Sanjay C J clinched gold in boys 200 meter butterfly.

Mizoram won gold in boys under 17 football by defeating Assam by 1 goal to nil. 

Maharashtra is leading the overall medal tally with 72 Gold.
