In the Khelo India Youth Games 2021, Maharashtra replaced Haryana in the medal tally  securing top position with 102  medals including 38 gold and 35 silver medals.

Haryana slipped to second place with 37 gold, 34 silver and 39 bronze medals.  Haryana has so far grabbed 110 medals. Karnataka remained at third place with 21 gold, 13 silver and 18 bronze medals. Manipur continued at fourth place with 16  gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals. Kerala is at fifth place with  13 gold 14  silver and 11 bronze medal.
