Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Khelo India programme which began under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reaping results now. He said that the participation of the largest contingent of Indian athletes and the historic tally of medals bagged by our athletes in the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics Games this year is the testimony of the same. The Chief Minister was speaking at the concluding ceremony of the MP Sports competition in Gorakhpur today.

Mr. Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh government is felicitating the medal winners and the participants of international sports competitions. He said that the state government is committed to building playing fields in the villages and at least one stadium or mini stadium at the block level.
