Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry said that athletes participating in the Khelo India Para Games which is set to begin from the 10th of December will receive comprehensive medical coverage. The Ministry said that the medical coverage includes emergency medical services, on-site medical teams and access to necessary healthcare facilities. National Centre of Sports Science and Research, Director-in-Charge Colonel Bibhu Nayak said that all possible measures have been taken on behalf of the Khelo India division under the Ministry to ensure that all participating para athletes receive requisite medical support to compete safely and address any health concern that may arise during the games.
