In the Lok Sabha, Congress leader Mallikaurjun Kharge today tried to raise the issue related to the alleged derogatory remarks against Dalit community by Union Minister V.K. Singh. During the beginning of zero hour, when Mr. Kharge raised the issue, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan told him that neither a notice has been given nor she was informed about the matter and it is not appropriate to raise the issue. <br/><br/>Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Rajiv Pratap Rudy also said Mr. Kharge is raising this issue in the manner which is not appropriate.
