Former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu, who was killed in a chopper crash has been cremated with full state honours in Shepedung in Tawang today. Late Khandu was cremated as per Buddhist traditions of the Monpa community. Thousands of people turned up to attend the last rites of the leader. AIR correspondent reports that the funeral procession began at 8 this morning from the residence of the former Chief Minister at Lemberdung.
