Kevin Pietersen: 15 degree chucking rule unfair<br/>

Kevin Pietersen, one of the maverick batsmen of his time has said that the 15 degree chucking rule is unfair. He said anybody can bowl doosras and hence it is unfair to call it a suspect bowling action which can have a demoralizing effect on the bowlers. Pietersen was talking to reporters on the sidelines of the launch of his cricket academy in Dubai. He appreciated the bowling genius of the likes of Muthaiah Muralitharan and Saeed Ajmal who have faced the wrath of umpires and the ICC over their doosra deliveries. Under the ICC rules, a bowler is allowed to have the rotation of arm only up to 15 degrees and beyond this it will come in the category of suspect bowling action for which the bowler has to undergo a remedial or corrective action. The star England batsman said he enjoyed playing in the Indian Premier league and looks forward to see the same energy in the years to come.
