Five Union Ministers hailing from Kerala met Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in Parliament today on the Mullaperiyar Dam issue.The delegation included Civil Aviation Minister Vayalar Ravi, Food and Public distribution Minister K V Thomas, Minister of state for Home Affairs Mullapalli Ramachandran, Minister of state for External Affairs E Ahmad and Minister of state for Power K C Venugopal. Talking to reporters after the meeting, Mr. Vayalar Ravi said that the Prime Minister has assured that he will do the needful to sort out the issue at the earliest. Mr. Ravi added that the Centre is also working to settle the issue through a meeting between the Chief Ministers of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
