The Kerala government is planning to modernise 1000 km road network in the state with an investment of 5100 crore rupees. Informing the assembly about UDF government plans to upgrade road networks of the state to international standard, PWD Minister Ibrahim Kunj said state high ways and major district roads are to be renewed. The minister also informed the house that apart from Thiruvananthapuram mono rail project will also be implemented in Kozhikode corporation. He also said that internationally renowned infrastructure experts will be participating in the three day conference to be held in Thiruvananthapuram next month.
