Kerala is set to launch a massive agriculture project, in barren land immediately, to overcome the economic crisis being faced due to Covid-19 in the State.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that through the Agriculture Department , large scale cultivation of food grains, fruits and vegetables will be undertaken in the  barren land across the State soon.The local Self government bodies will be entrusted with the task.<br />'' <br />'' The Government plans to launch the project in 1, 80, 000 hectares of barren land in the State,  with the involvement of Kudumbasree, Self help groups, NGOs, volunteers and young people .The project aims at attaining self sufficiency in food, employment generation and income generation at large.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, 10 more Covid-19 positive cases are confirmed in Kerala today, whereas, 10 people recovered from the disease.Among the newly confirmed cases, 3  are health workers and one is a media person.123 people are presently under treatment for Covid-19 in Kerala. A total of 369 persons had recovered from the disease so far in the State. <br />''
