Kerala: Test results of ten persons for Nipah virus found negative; House to house surveillance being conducted

<span style="color: #222222;">Kerala State Health Minister Veena George informed that test results of ten persons suspected of Nipah virus infections were found to be negative. Briefing media persons in Kozhikode, Ms George said, the results are a matter of great relief at this stage.<br />''<br />''Eight samples were tested in National Institute of Virology, Pune and two in the new lab in Kozhikode Medical College. The tests included the samples of the parents of the deceased boy, who died due to the Nipah virus infection on Sunday.
