Kerala: Teachers using augmented reality to make online classes more interesting

<span style="color: #222222;">In Kerala ,teachers are using augmented reality to make online classes more effective and interesting for the children. In Kerala's Malappuram district,the children of kindergarten is all excited to see, life like animals popping up beside their teacher. Thanks to augmented reality,which is being used in online classes ,adding a whole new dimension to learning for children.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Shyam Vengalloor, a social science teacher at the AEM AUP School has introduced this state of the art technology in the classes. Mr. Shyam has succeeded in creating an augmented reality for the virtual class by superimposing graphics, audio and sensory enhancements. The technology superimposes  computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world, thus providing a composite view. Augmented Reality makes the classes more lively and interesting to the children.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Looking at the success of the lessons, many schools across Kerala are trying to replicate the same. The academic year in Kerala had commenced since June 1st completely online this year ,by the name bell 'First Bell" through TV  and Youtube channels.</span> <br />
