In Kerala, the Sixth Deputy National Security Adviser-level Meeting of the Colombo Security Conclave is presently underway at Kochi.<br />'' <br />'' The seven-member Indian delegation is being led by Deputy National Security Adviser Vikram Misri. Besides India, delegations from  Maldives, Sri Lanka, and  Mauritius are participating in the meeting. Representatives from Bangladesh and Seychelles are also attending the meeting as observers.<br />'' <br />'' In the opening session, the delegates called for greater cooperation amongst the member countries on issues like maritime safety and security, counter-terrorism and radicalization, combating trafficking and organized crime, and protection of critical infrastructure among other things.<br />'' <br />'' The Colombo Security Conclave has been formed to foster cooperation on maritime safety and security, counter-terrorism and radicalization, combating trafficking and organized crime, and protection of critical infrastructure, besides providing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.<br />''
