<span style="color: #222222;">Kerala reports a rise in Covid-19 cases as 16 more positive cases are confirmed today. AIR correspondent reports among the fresh cases, 7 people returned from abroad, 4 from Chennai and and 2 from Maharashtra. Presently the total active cases rose to 80  in Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that,  there is a situation of concern,  as the fear of community spread still  exists.<br />''<br />''He said that the preventive measures will be strengthened across the State,  surveillance will be strengthened at  all check posts and  strict actions will be taken against those violating quarantine guidelines.Bike patrolling by police officials will be done daily in areas to monitor the people under quarantine.Ward level committe will be entrusted with the task of monitoring and reporting ground level situation.Complete lockdown on all sundays  will be strictly continued.</span><br />
