In all, 47 deaths were also confirmed due to COVID today, taking the total death toll to 34,025. Bringing respite, 6,319 recoveries were also reported today. At present, 71,020 is the active caseload in the state. Two crores 54 lakh people received the first dose of vaccine and more than one crore 47 lakh people received two doses of the COVID vaccines. About 95.26 percent of the eligible population received the first dose and 55.29 percent received the second dose of COVID vaccine. In Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, and Wayanad districts about 100 percent of people have been vaccinated with the first dose. The Health Minister also requested those who are yet to be vaccinated to go to the Vaccination Centres immediately and get vaccinated at the earliest.</span><br />
