Kerala is reeling under severe heatwave condition as temperature continues to soar in the state. The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority has extended the sunstroke till 31st March in 9 districts.<br />''<br />''<br />''Around 40 people suffered sunburn while two suffered sunstroke on Wednesday. A special meeting was chaired by the chief secretary to take stock of the situation in Thiruvananthapuram.<br />''<br />''<br />''The meeting was attended by district collectors through video conferencing and officials from departments concerned. Taking the situation into account, they decided to constitute three task force committees , led by senior officials from various departments.<br />''<br />''<br />''The meeting evaluated that till yesterday, one person died due to heat related incident and as many as 280 people suffered sunburn and sun strokes.<br />''<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Most number of cases were reported from Pathanamthitta district .
