<span style="color: #222222;">In Kerala, 12 more COVID-19 positive cases have been reported today taking the total reported cases to 52. Out of these, three people had already recovered from the disease and presently 49 people are being treated for COVID-19 infection in hospitals. <br />'' <br />''AIR Correspondent reports, out of the 12 new postive cases of COVID-19 reported today in Kerala, six are from Kasargode, three from Ernakulam and three from Kannur district. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">All the 12 newly infected persons had returned from Gulf region. More than 5,300 people are under observation in the state. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the situation is very serious and strict legal action will be taken against those not following the guidelines to contain the infection. Police is entrusted with the task to check any kind of gathering. A Special Committee has been formed under the Chief Secretary to ensure essential services in the state. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Vijayan urged the people to strictly abide by the rules as otherwise the government will be forced to declare an emergency.</span><br />
