<span style="color: #222222;">In Kerala, three days of alert has been declared by the State police on the wake of political killings in Alappuzha district. Extra police forces are being deployed in problematic regions. No mike announcements or processions will be allowed in the State for three days. Alappuzha reported two murders in 12 hours .<br />'' <br />'' SDPI State secretary KS Shan was the first to be killed. Within hours, BJP's OBC Morcha State secretary Ranjith Srinivasan was also killed last day, leading to clamping of prohibitory orders in the district by the administration. The additional police force are deployed in the region and senior officers are camping there to monitor the law and order situation. 2 persons were arrested today morning in connection with the incident.<br />'' <br />'' The district collector had called for an all-party meeting tomorrow evening. The meeting will be attended by ministers, representatives of various political parties and legislators from the district. The meeting will discuss ways to restore peace and ways to avoid violence. Meanwhile Union Minister of State, for home affairs, Nityanand Rai said in Kochi today that the investigation by the State Govt in the matter is not efficient.<br />''<br />''Mr.Nityanand Rai will visit the house of the slain party worker Ranjith Sreenivasan's house in Alappuzha today afternoon. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan as well as leaders of other political parties in the State had condemned the killings. The CM said that steps are taken by the police to nab the culprits and those behind them soon.</span>
