In Kerala, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) framed charges against Thadiyantevida Nasir, Shafaz and other accused in the Kashmir Recruitment case at the NIA Special Court in Kochi today. The court will decide the date of commencement of trial on the 15th of this month.The case relates to the recruitment of several youths from Kerala to carry out anti-national activities, conspiring with the banned Lakshkar-e-Toiba outfit. The accused are charged with anti-national activities and waging war against the nation.Of the 24 accused in the case, four died in encounters with the security forces in Kashmir, while two others, including a Pakistan national Wali Abdul Rahman are absconding.
