Kerala ministers, family members to disclose assets: CM

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that all members of his cabinet and their family members will be disclosing their assets as part of ensuring transparent and corruption free administration.This will be also applicable to high level officials of personal staff.Disclosing hundred day action plan of his government in Thiruvananthapuram, Mr Chandy said rice at one rupee per kilogram will be given to BPL families and orphans by September.The Chief Minister added that to make RTI Act more effective in Kerala, application and fee for the same will be accepted online.Mr Chandy further added that apart from special monitoring cell for implementation of central schemes, across the state wages under MGNREGA will be provided within fifteen days itself.To implement Right to Education Act in Kerala a cabinet sub committee has been formed. Hereafter, Chief Minister's office will be functioning round the clock and all government orders will be placed on website immediately after issuing.
