The issues of suspected rape and murder of a law student and gang- rape of a nursing student in Kerala were raised in the Lok Sabha today. During Zero Hour, BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi raised the issue of law student who was raped and murdered in Ernakulam district. <br/><br/>She accused the state administration of not taking proper action in the matter. She demanded that the culprits must be brought to book. Some members also associated her on the issue. Replying to it Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu expressed concerns and condemned both the incidents. He said he will apprise the Home Minister on these issues to direct the Kerala government to take strict action against culprits.
