<span style="color: #222222;">Kerala has increased and tightens surveillance as 10 new  positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the state today, even from districts classified  earlier under  green zone. AIR correspondent  reports Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijyan said the categorization.of districts are changed as  new cases are being reported from green zone districts of Idukki and Kottayam. Accordingly 4 districts of Kannur, Kasargode, Kozhikode and Malappuram continue remain in red zone and the rest all 10 districts will come under orange zone.The strict lockdown measures will continue in red zone. Hotspots in the orange zone will be completely sealed. In hotspot    Panchayat the entire Panchayat will be closed,  in  Municipality, the concerned ward  and in Corporation the concerned division will be sealed.The decision regarding hotspot will be made by respective  district administration.  As among the newly confirmed cases today,   4 people came from neighbouring states the inter state travel will be strictly banned except with emergency passes.Chief Minister informed that the present statistics shows there is no  community  spread in the State  yet but the chances cannot be ruled out. Accordingly it is decided to conduct random antibody   testing in  health workers, sanitary workers, home delivery agents etc  to check the community spread.Mr Vijayan further said that it is advised that people  above 60,  not to participate in MGNREGA prog in the State,  till May 3rd, as they are more  vulnerable to the infection.Presently 129 active case are there in Kerala .The number of  people under observation in the State  drastically came down to  around 23000.</span><br />
