<br/>The Kerala High Court has prohibited the holding of wayside public meetings across the state. A Division Bench comprising Justice C N Ramachandran Nair and Justice P S Gopinathan in its order directed the police and revenue officials not to grant permission for way side meetings in the interest of public safety and to ensure free flow of traffic. <br/>Disposing of a public interest petition in this regard, the court directed the state government to consider allowing public meetings on Sundays by utilising the grounds of government run educational institutions. <br/>
