The Kerala High Court has ordered a CBI inquiry into the Muthoot Paul M George murder case. Disposing off a petition filed by Paul's father seeking CBI inquiry, a Division Bench comprising of Chief Justice S R Bannurmath and Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan directed the CBI to complete the probe within six months.<br/><br/> The court also ordered the state police to hand over all records concerning the case to the CBI. The Court also came down heavily on IG, Central Range, Mr Vinson M Paul, for conducting a media conference less than 24 hours after the murder took place. The court observed that the investigation into the case by the state police was not fair, improper and incomplete.<br/><br/> Paul M George, son of M G George Muthoot, a prominent business man in the state was waylaid on Changanacherry-Alappuzha road allegedly by criminal gang in August last year.
