The Kerala High Court has granted conditional bail to two Italian Marines, Lattorre Massimiliano and Salvatore Girone, who shot dead two fishermen on February 15.Justice N K Balakrishnan directed the Italian marines to execute a bond of one crore rupees each with two Indian solvent sureties for the like sum.The Judge also directed the petitioners to surrender their passports before the Magistrate's court at Kollam and added that they should report daily to the Kochi City Police Commissioner and make themselves available as and when required by him.The sureties also should not leave the state of Kerala without the permission of the concerned Court.The Judge ordered that as a matter of abundant caution, the sea port and other authorities should be informed to prevent the accused from leaving the country.
