The Kerala High Court has banned the dumping of household waste wrapped in plastic carry bags in public places. A Division Bench of the High Court directed the local bodies to adopt strict measures against the offenders. The Bench comprising Justice C N Ramachandran Nair and Justice P S Gopinathan issued the directive on a petition filed by the Federation of Women Lawyers.
