Kerala HC approves guidelines submitted by Election Commission to prevent double voting

<span style="color: #222222;">The Kerala High Court today approved the guidelines submitted by the Election Commission to prevent double voting. Those who have votes in more than one place will have to  submit an affidavit at the polling booth. The High Court also directed that the Central forces be deployed if necessary to facilitate the polls and ensure smooth conduct of the elections. The Election Commission had informed the court that it was not in a position to review the complete voters list at present.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the election campaign in the state is progressing enthusiastically. There are only five days left for the General Assembly elections in the state.
