The Kerala government will soon set up a Maritime Board in the state, which will act as a single window of facilitation for investors and operators in the port, shipping and logistics sector. This was stated by the Kerala Minister of Shipping and Excise K Babu in Kochi today. He was addressing the sectoral session on Ports, Ship building and Logistics at the Emerging Kerala Investors Meet..He said the state government is planning to divert at least 20 per cent of the road cargo through coastal shipping by 2015 and 40 per cent by 2020.
