Kerala Govt to distribute land to landless tribals

Kerala Government is to distribute land to landless tribals of the state next week. As per the provisions of the Central Act, Forest Dwellers' Rights Act , 4589 tribal families of five districts of Kerala will be benefitted. Revenue Minister Mr K P Rajendran told the Media that with this Kerala becomes the first state in the country to give rights to the land in possession of forest dwellers. Apart from this land title rights will be distributed to fifty thousand families living in coastal and hilly areas of Kerala.<br/><br/>
