Kerala govt initiates probe into death of youth with monkeypox-like symptoms

Kerala Government has initiated a high-level inquiry into the death of a 22-year-old youth, suspected to have monkeypox-like symptoms in Thrissur. The youth who recently returned from the United Arab Emirates had tested positive for monkeypox abroad. The State Health Department has advised those in contact with the deceased person to go on isolation.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, the country's first monkeypox patient, a 35-year-old man in Kollam, was discharged from the Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram after recovering from the disease.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">There are two other active cases of monkeypox in the State and their health condition is reported to be stable.</span><br />
