Kerala government has initiated actions for the demolition of four apartments complexes in Maradu, Kochi in the wake of Supreme Court order for the violation of Coastal Regulation Zone norms. The apex court has severely criticised Kerala government for not implementing its order.<br />'' <br />''As part of the action, the authorities have cut off power and water connections to the apartments ignoring strong protest by the residents. The authorities have made plans to relocate the residents to suitable places. Though the authorities issued notice to vacate the flats, the residents said that they would not vacate their homes.</span><br />
