Kerala govt grants permission to local bodies to issue approval for killing wild boars

<span style="color: #222222;">The Kerala Government has decided to grant permission to local bodies to issue an approval for killing wild boars.  The carcass of wild boars shall be cremated in a scientific manner and reported to the Department of  Forest.  Wild boars can be trapped and killed but the  Department of Forest has strictly banned electrocution or poisoning.<br />''<br />''Earlier, only the chief wildlife warden had the authority to give permission to shoot the wild boars in the State.<br />''<br />''The Government move comes in the wake of growing human-wild animal conflicts in the State.</span><br />
