Kerala Government will release 50 lakh rupees solace to the family of Lt.Col. Niranjan Kumar who died when the Air Force base in Pathankot was attacked by terrorists on Sunday last. <br/><br/>Announcing this after Cabinet meeting in Thiruvananthapuram today, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said Government would provide Government job to Lt.Col. Niranjan's wife besides bearing the educational expenses of his daughter. The Medical College Stadium in Palakkad and the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Elambulasseri will be named after Lt. Col. Niranjan, he added.
