<span style="color: #222222;">Kerala Government announces detailed guidelines in connection with the scheduled arrival of Non Resident Indians to the State, from coming Thursday.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan,  after the high level meeting in Thiruvananthapuram today, informed the State's guidelines on the arrival of Keralaites from other countries and States.<br />'' <br />'' He said as the primary motto remains containing the spread of Covid 19, the situation  ahead had to be dealt with atmost care and .<br />'' <br />'' On the  arrival of the nonresidents citizens in airports and ports in the State, after the initial medical testing, all of them, whether having symptoms or not, will be taken to the State's Covid care centres  for a  compulsory quarantine for 7 days.<br />'' <br />'' After 7 days the PCR testing will be done and in case of negative result, they will be send to strict home quarantine  and in case of turning positive, they will be shifted to hospitals.<br />'' <br />'' On similar grounds, Keralites coming from hotspot regions of other States and UTs will also be shifted directly to State Covid centre for compulsory quarantine for 7 days and after detailed testing will be shifted to hospital or home as per the result.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Vijayan said that the State is prepared for the arrival of people from outside,  with over 2, 50, 000  isolation beds and other medical facilities.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister further expressed concern that only around 80000 Non residents Keralites are scheduled to arrive,  where as there was urgent needs to facilitate the arrival of over 169000 people from abroad, as per the information collected by the State.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Vijayan said that the matter will be taken  up with the  Centre.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile 3 more positive Covid 19 cases were reported from Kerala today,  taking the total number of active cases to 37 in the State.<br />'' <br />'' </span><br />
