Kerala: Expert committee evolves plan to asses wealth of temple

In Kerala, the expert committee appointed by the Supreme Court to evaluate the treasure trove of Sreepadmanabha Swamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram has evolved a detailed action plan to ensure scientific assessment of the temple wealth. The two committees of experts from different organizations began the evaluation process yesterday as per the apex court's direction last month. The committees, have already inspected all the five vaults which have been opened. However, the committee is yet to decide on the opening of the “B” vault of the temple and videography and photography of the already unearthed assets. The next meeting of the committee would be held by the middle of next week.
